Pros of buying a 19x16 left propeller for a Yamaha XL:1. Durability: Steel propellers are known for their durability and strength, making them a great choice for long-term use.
2. Power: A 19x16 propeller is larger than the standard propeller size, which means it can provide more power and thrust, making your Yamaha XL perform better in water.
3. Versatility: This propeller size is suitable for various water conditions and speeds, making it a versatile choice for different types of boating activities.
Cons of buying a 19x16 left propeller for a Yamaha XL:1. Price: Steel propellers are generally more expensive than their aluminum counterparts, which could be a disadvantage for budget-conscious buyers.
2. Weight: Steel propellers are heavier than aluminum propellers, which could affect the boat's performance and fuel efficiency.
3. Maintenance: Steel propellers may require more frequent maintenance and repair due to the risk of corrosion and wear and tear.
Conclusion:Buying a 19x16 left propeller for a Yamaha XL can provide you with additional power and durability, but it may also come with a higher price tag, increased weight, and more frequent maintenance needs. If you value power and durability over cost and maintenance, then a steel propeller could be a great choice for you. However, if you're looking for a more budget-friendly and low-maintenance option, you may want to consider an aluminum propeller.
Recommendation:Before making a decision, I recommend researching the different propeller options available for your Yamaha XL and considering your specific boating needs and preferences. You may also want to consult with a boat mechanic or a knowledgeable salesperson to get expert advice on the best propeller size and material for your boat. Ultimately, the choice between a steel propeller and an aluminum propeller will depend on your budget, usage, and personal preferences.
I tried to take as many pictures as I could of it so you'll have an idea of it. This prop is a left hand prop.
The only thing that's wrong with it is one of the blades is marred pretty good on the tip of the edge of the blade. Overall this is a solid prop. Make an offer, i'll most likely take it. The other 2 blades do have some wear on the edges of the blades but nothing really as bad as the other one.
