Ask any questions and i'll do my best to answer if I can. The hand writing on box references a Mercury motor, ke4 or 9, 169 best I can read. I am not a boat motor guy but thought this was cool being originally from grand rapids, mi near where currently live. I'm assuming means standard. It is in a box marked AM282.

There are 11 splines inside the brass insert. The propeller measures approximately across, outside. I'm not sure if the markings on box are correct for propeller. It appears to be a vintage unit, possibly as old wood en boats by the brochure inside.
