The Johnson Evinrude OMC Propeller, model number 384139, is a high-quality marine propeller designed for optimal performance and durability. This propeller is specifically engineered for outboard motors, with a 13-inch diameter and a pitch of 3-8 inches, ensuring a balanced and efficient power transfer from the engine to the water. The 17-pitch design provides a smooth and stable propulsion, reducing vibrations and noise while maximizing speed and fuel efficiency.
The propeller is constructed from durable steel, providing exceptional strength and resistance to corrosion and wear. The material's hardness ensures it can withstand the harsh marine environment, including contact with rocks, debris, and other underwater obstacles. The steel construction also ensures a long lifespan for the propeller, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
The Johnson Evinrude OMC Propeller is designed to fit most outboard motors with a 1.5-inch shaft diameter, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of boats. The propeller's design allows for easy installation, with a secure fit and a balanced rotation. The propeller's four-blade design also provides excellent thrust and maneuverability, making it easy to turn and maneuver the boat in tight spaces.
In conclusion, the Johnson Evinrude OMC Propeller, model number 384139, is a reliable and durable marine propeller that delivers optimal performance and efficiency. Its tough steel construction, 13-inch diameter, and 3-8 inch pitch provide a balanced and powerful propulsion, while its 17-pitch design and four-blade design ensure smooth operation and excellent maneuverability. This propeller is an excellent choice for boat owners looking for a high-quality and long-lasting marine propeller.
Pros of buying a Johnson Evinrude OMC propeller with a 13" diameter, 3-1/2" pitch, and a steel material:1. Durability: The steel material of the propeller makes it highly resistant to corrosion and wear, ensuring a long lifespan.
2. Efficient performance: The 3-1/2" pitch provides a good balance between speed and maneuverability, delivering optimal power transfer from the engine to the water.
3. Compatibility: This propeller is designed for Johnson Evinrude OMC outboard motors, ensuring a seamless fit and proper functioning.
Cons of buying a Johnson Evinrude OMC propeller with a 13" diameter, 3-1/2" pitch, and a steel material:1. Higher cost: Steel propellers tend to be more expensive than aluminum or composite alternatives due to their increased durability and performance.
2. Weight: The steel material of the propeller may make it heavier than its aluminum or composite counterparts, which can impact the overall performance and fuel efficiency of the boat.
In conclusion, if you prioritize durability and efficiency in a propeller, the Johnson Evinrude OMC propeller with a 13" diameter, 3-1/2" pitch, and a steel material is an excellent choice. However, its higher cost and weight may be a deterrent for some buyers. Ultimately, the decision to purchase this propeller should be based on your specific needs and preferences.
Stainless props are much tougher than their aluminum counterparts. Nice stainless steel prop collecting dust in my garage. One blade has a slight bend in it. I would say this prop is 95 perfect.
Prop will fit countless Johnson Evinrude thru hub exhaust outboards. Should be no out of balance worries. If they PMS are too high, install a higher pitch propeller. My owners manual recommends PMS be between 4500 and 5500 wide open.
It says if the PMS are low lugging, install a lower pitch prop.
